Alumnos de La Salle Reus, premio al emprendimiento social en Miniempresas

La miniempresa Eduky, formada por un grupo de alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato de La Salle Reus, ha sido galardonada por la Fundación Junior Achievement en la X Competición Nacional de Miniempresas que se ha celebrado hoy en Madrid y en la que han participado más de 52.000 alumnos de todo el país.

Los alumnos, que ya se impusieron en la fase catalana, han desarrollado un libro educativo destinado a enseñar a los niños pequeños diferentes tareas de la vida cotidiana que se complementa con códigos QR que conectan con videos, creados también por los propios alumnos, que enseñan aquella acción de la vida cotidiana que quieren que aprendan los niños.

El libro está disponible en su página web (http://edukyminiempresa.wix.com/edukyja), creada también por los propios alumnos, y más adelante se podrá adquirir en diferentes establecimientos de la ciudad de Reus y en la propia escuela. La edición de este libro se ha hecho en catalán y castellano.

Los alumnos que forman parte de la miniempresa son Paula Antona, Santi Arroyave, Alba Duarte, José Ma Marsal, Valeria López, Ángel Piera y Maria Serra, todos ellos estudiantes de 1º de Bachillerato y tutorizados por Raquel Casas y Pili Salvadó, profesoras de Economía de la empresa.

El Programa Miniempresas de la Fundación Junior Achievement va dirigido a alumnos de Bachillerato y Formación Profesional. Cada miniempresa elige a su junta directiva, seleccionan un producto / servicio a comercializar, encaran las tareas de producción trabajando en equipo, desarrollan una estrategia de marketing y realizan la venta del producto. De esta manera, se brinda a los estudiantes una experiencia práctica de la toma de decisiones empresariales a través de la organización y creación de una miniempresa. A posteriori, los alumnos deciden a qué acción solidaria destinar parte de los beneficios empresariales.

Des élèves du Sacre-Cœur en visite aux enfants du centre fratelli

« Fraternité, joie et partage. » Trois mots qui décrivent ce qu’ont vécu les élèves de la EB8 avec les enfants du Centre Socio-éducatif Fratelli, le mercredi 27 avril 2016.

Pour mettre en acte leur engagement lasallien et social suite à la quinzaine lasallienne, 70 élèves du Collège du Sacré-Cœur ont rendu visite aux enfants réfugiés syriens du Centre Fratelli où ils ont joué, chanté, mangé, dansé et partagé ensemble des moments inoubliables. Ils ont formé aussi une chaîne de paix avec des silhouettes d’enfants coloriés durant la journée. Avant de quitter, les élèves du Collège Sacré-Cœur ont offert au Centre Fratelli des jeux de société qu’ils ont achetés avec l’argent récolté entre eux. Les deux équipes éducatives ont témoigné d’une grande coopération ce qui a contribué à la réussite des activités prévues.

RELEM Visitors’ Conference – París 2016

The 2016 RELEM Visitors’ Conference took place at the Maison La Salle, in Rue de Sèvres, Paris, from Monday April 25 th to April 29 th . The Conference was hosted by the Brother Jean-Paul Aleth (Visitor) and the District of France and was presided over byBrother Aidan Kilty, the General Councillor with responsibility for RELEM. 23 Visitors, Auxiliary Visitors and Delegates attended the Conference from the 8 Districts and Delegation of the Region of RELEM.

The opening days of the Conference were devoted to a reflection on the future restructuring of the Region in the context of the changing demography of the Districts and the need to ensure the sustainability of the Lasallian mission in the Region into the future. This part of the Conference was facilitated by Brother André-Pierre, former Auxiliary Visitor of France, and after much reflection and discussion the Conference put in place the mechanics for a Regional MEL Council with a key responsibility fo organising the first Regional MEL Assembly. The Conference also decided to change the composition of the Regional Council by reconstituting it as the Council of the Titular Visitors with the aim of collaborating and reflecting on crucial Regional issues with the General Councillor for the Region.

Following the opening days of reflection, the Conference then addressed its normal business such as attending to the financing of the Regional structures, including the Regional Novitiate in Madrid, and receiving the reports of the various groups or councils working on behalf of the Region – such as MEL, Assedil, NGOs, Universities, the Administrative Council of the Novitiate, and the Young Lasallian Council. The French representative on the RELEM Young Lasallian Council, Bérengère Pichelin, presented this latter report. The financial challenges of the international Institute were presented to the Conference through a video link by the Institute Bursar, Brother Ambrose Payne. The Conference also had the opportunity to discuss future plans for the Lasallian centre in Parmenie and through a presentation entitled “Project Adrian Nyel” the Conference explored the Regional response to the 45 th General Chapter’s propositions with regard to the creation of international communities for vocational discernment in areas of social deprivation. One of the final sessions of the Conference explored the responses of the international Institute and the different Districts of RELEM to the on-going migratory and refugee problems affecting many parts of the Region particularly in the Middle East.

Thanks to the hospitality of the District of France, the participants of the Conference enjoyed a recreational afternoon and evening taking in some of the sights of Paris on a cruise along the River Seine followed by a celebratory meal hosted by a Parisian Lasallian family.

Oltre le frontiere. L’esperienza di Regalbuto (Sicilia)

Quest’anno “CONSIDERA”, la Federazione di Reti di Solidarietà Lasalliana del Distretto Italia, ha messo in moto la campagna “SENZA CIBO NON C’E’ SPERANZA”

In questo contesto tutti i giorni Fr. Rosario e la Signora Rita di Regalbuto in Sicilia offrono CIBO e SPERANZA a più di 260 persone, in maggioranza bambini e persone anziane appartenenti ad 80 famiglie bisognose.

Il Centro Giovanile Lasalliano di Regalbuto è un punto di distribuzione del Banco Alimentare, patrocinato dalla UE e appoggiato da alcuni supermercati locali attraverso donazioni. I beneficiari sono identificati dalle Istituzioni locali e quelli che hanno diritto all’assistenza prendono gli alimenti, in accordo con le loro necessità su base mensile.

Fr. Rosario è stato ringraziato dai responsabili per l’esattezza delle informazioni e dei registri rispetto alla distribuzione degli alimenti e per la sua conoscenza diretta dei beneficiari. Il Centro non solo combatte la povertà materiale, distribuendo alimenti, ma è anche un punto di riferimento per molte di queste persone, spesso sole e disperate.

Questo non è l’unico servizio che il Centro Giovanile lasalliano di Regalbuto offre a questa piccola popolazione di 7000 abitanti. Un altro servizio è GEV (Gruppo di Educatori Lasalliani Volontari); GEV agisce efficacemente attraverso le mani di Fr. Giuseppe, fornendo supporto educativo ed  opportunità ricreative per circa 100 bambini e giovani a rischio di esclusione sociale ed educativa. La signora Donatella guida un team di 50 volontari (bambini e adulti) che sono impegnati ad offrire l’insegnamento giornaliero per studenti con ritardo, ad organizzare campi estivi, lavorare ceramiche, prodotti da forno, fare lavori di carpenteria.

A Regalbuto c’è una comunità per l’integrazione di 25 giovani rifugiati che sono fuggiti dal Mali, Gambia, Pakistan … Essi sono disposti ad acquisire le competenze necessarie per trovare lavoro. Fr. Ottavio offre una formazione pratica per imparare i mestieri di carpentiere ed elettricista.

Al fine di continuare a fornire questi servizi a giovani a rischio, la sostenibilità finanziaria è oggi una delle principali preoccupazioni. A tal fine, stiamo lanciando una campagna di marketing per vendere le belle ceramiche siciliane realizzate da “Regalceramica”. Speriamo di poterla realizzare sia attraverso la rete Lasalliana italiana che la rete Lasalliana internazionale.
