« Nettoyons la nature » : les collégiens agissent…

Comme chaque année, les collégiens ont participé à l’action « Nettoyons la Nature ! » à Saint-Brice-Courcelles.

Après avoir reçu les consignes de l’adjoint au maire M. Lalouette, les jeunes se sont lancés à l’assaut de la forêt.

C’est à peine croyable, mais ce sont des roues, des panneaux de signalisation, un extincteur, beaucoup de canettes, des chaises en plastique cassées et encore beaucoup d’autres déchets qui ont été trouvés et ramassés…

On se demande si la déchetterie et les conteneurs à verre sont si inaccessibles… Nos apprentis citoyens sont désormais sensibilisés à ce problème et nous l’espérons, ne jetteront pas leur poubelle dans la nature….

Els alumnes de 2n de Batxillerat participen, un any més, a la Mostra de Fotofilosofies

Un any més, els alumnes de 2n de Batxillerat tornen a participar a la Mostra de Fotofilosofies que, en aquesta ocasió, celebra la seva onzena edició.

La Mostra de Fotofilosofies, organitzada per la Societat Catalana de Filosofia i pel Centre de Recursos per a l’Ensenyament, Aprenentatge i Innovació de la Filosofia (CREAIF), és un concurs que cada any es convoca entre els estudiants de filosofia dels centres de secundària d’arreu dels Països Catalans, en la que els alumnes il·lustren amb una fotografia una pregunta vinculada a la filosofia.

Les fotofilosofies dels alumnes de 2n de Batxillerat, una imatge relacionada amb una qüestió de contingut filosòfic, han estat penjades en aquest blog i els professors del col·legi han estat els encarregats d’escollir les millors. En aquesta ocasió, els seleccionats han estat el Marc Papaceit, el Pol Bausà, la Lidia Güémez i la Milagros Videla.

Aquest 2017, l’acte final es durà a terme el dia 15 de novembre a la Facultat de Filosofia de la Universitat de Barcelona, un dia en què les fotofilosofies dels alumnes seleccionats de La Salle Tarragona hauran de presentar-se públicament.

Qui és realment lliure?

Els Exploradors aprenen a preparar hummus en el marc del seu projecte sobre Egipte

En el marc del treball per Projectes d’Educació Infantil, la classe dels Exploradors, que està treballant Egipte, va decidir preparar un parell de receptes de menjar típic del món àrab.

Després d’haver-se formulat nombroses preguntes sobre el país, com ara quina llengua parlen, com són les seves cases, què mengen, a què juguen els nens a Egipte, etc, van buscar per internet informació sobre com elaborar hummus i, entre tots, van preparar aquest tradicional aperitiu fet a base de cigrons. A més, també van tenir l’oportunitat de descobrir nous ingredients, que no havien sentit a anomenar mai, com el sésam, el tahin…

D’altra banda, també van poder fer un tast d’un altre plat tradicional del món àrab: el tabbouleh.

Com no podia ser d’altra manera, els Exploradors van gaudir moltíssim i es van llepar fins els dits!

Retour sur la journée d’intégration au Mont St Michel-La Salle tour d’Auvergne

On Thursday 7th September we were at our integration day at Mount St Michael. We loved this day because we were together. When we arrived at Mount St Michael at lunch time, we had a picnic with our friends. After that we walked barefoot on the mud which was slippery and somebody fell. While

we were waiting for the guide we had a great time. When he arrived he took us to the quicksands. We all plunged into the quicksands and we stayed dirty. Then, we went back to Mount st Michael. The coach was in a hurry so we had to run to arrive on time. We tried to wash our feet. When we arrived the ffirst coach went back to Rennes with very few people. The girls got changed and we went back to the school. On the way back we were happy and sung a lot of songs,. The journey was really great!

Hello !

We are going to talk about our integration day at Mount St Michael on the 7th September. In the morning we took the coach for one hour of journey to go to Mount St Michael, the journey was cool, we laughed a lot.

When we arrived at the foot of the Mount, we took a shuttle and finally arrived.

We had a picnic and after that, in the afternoon we walked barefoot next to the Mount.

Later, we plunged into some quicksands, it was really funny.

We had a beautiful sight on the Mount.

Then we went back to the shuttle and changed our clothes and returned to the school in two different groups. We really had a good time this day !

Naughton Scholarship

Congratulations to Harry Foley, who completed his Leaving Cert this year at De La Salle College, has been awarded a €20,000 Naughton Foundation Scholarship following a ceremony which took place in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, Trinity College Dublin on Saturday.

Naughton ScholarshipHarry has also accepted a place at National University of Ireland, Galway studying Engineering. Supporting academic and innovative excellence in Irish students, this Scholarship Award is an investment in the future of Ireland’s reputation as a country with outstanding graduates.  In 2008 the scheme started in 3 counties and has continued to expand annually to become the nationwide program it is today.
