Frère Vicentiu Ghiurca est né le 24 avril 1974 à Galbeni, province de Bacău, en Roumanie.
Il prit l’habit des Frères le 14 août 1995 à Maria Laubegg, en Autriche où il fit son noviciat au temps où le Frère Mathaus Plattensteiner était maître des novices.
Après avoir terminé son scolasticat à Iaşi sous l’animation du Frère Juan Barrera, il rejoint la communauté et l’école de Pildeşti en tant que professeur. Là, il a donné les cours d’histoire et a collaboré à l’animation du mouvement d’Action catholique de la ville.
Il a ensuite assuré la coordination du secteur roumain et la gestion administrative du Lycée La Salle.
En novembre 2014, il a été nommé Visiteur Auxiliaire du District d’Europe Centrale dont fait partie le secteur roumain et à partir du 2 mai 2018 il sera le nouveau Visiteur du District.

Tomó el hábito de los Hermanos el 14 de agosto de 1995 en Maria Laubegg, Austria, donde hizo su noviciado siendo maestro de novicios el Hermano Mathaus Plattensteiner.
Tras concluir su Escolasticado en Iași bajo la animación del Hermano Juan Barrera, se incorporó como profesor a la comunidad y escuela de Pildești. Allí impartió clases de Historia y colaboró en la animación del movimiento Acción Católica de la localidad.
Asumió más tarde la coordinación del Sector de Rumanía y la dirección administrativa del Liceo La Salle.
En Noviembre de 2014 fue nombrado Visitador Auxiliar del Distrito Europa Central del que forma parte el Sector Rumanía y desde el 2 de mayo de 2018 será el nuevo Visitador titular del Distrito.
Brother Vicentiu Ghiurca was born on the 24th of April 1974 in Galbeni, Bacău Province, Romania.
He received the religious habit on August the 14th 1995 in Maria Laubegg, Austria, and entered the novitiate where Brother Mathaus Plattensteiner was master of novices.
He did his scholasticate in Iași under the guidance of Brother Juan Barrera, and he then joined the Community and teaching staff in the school in Pildești, where he taught history and acted as leader for the local Catholic Action movement.
Later he took on the role of Coordinator of the Sector of Romania, and he also became Administrative Director of the Liceum La Salle.
In November 2014, he was appointed as Auxiliary Visitor of the District of Central Europe, of which Romania is a Sector. He is the new Visitor of the District, starting on May the 2nd, 2018.
